New MembersWelcome to Tea Tree Gully Motocross Club. Here are a few tips to getting started in Motocross:-
You will need to join the Club before you can apply for a recreational or race licence from MSA. A standard club fee of $100.00 applies for January to December. The track is usually open for practice on Friday afternoon's and most Sunday's depending on weather and official availability, times and dates will be posted here on the main menu page or Facebook. The track is not open if the temperature is 32 degrees or over.
As a member you will receive a Tea Tree Gully MX Club Membership Card to be retained by yourself and a Club signed MSA licence application form to be filled in and sent to MSA along with ambulance cover details and a cheque/money order for the type of licence you require:
Senior National Valid for all Open meetings $285.00
Junior National 7-15 years inclusive, valid for all Open meetings $260.00
Senior Restricted National Valid for Senior Fast 50’s, Mini Moto & Moto Trials $195.00
Junior Restricted National Valid for Junior Fast 50’s, Mini Moto & Moto Trials $95.50
Senior National One Meeting Valid for Historic and Masters meetings, see GCR 3.1.2.4 $77.00
Senior Club Valid for Closed to Club and Interclub meetings $250.00
Junior Club 7-15 years inclusive, valid for all Closed to Club and Interclub meetings $235.00
Mini 4-15 years valid for 50cc Demo, Minikhana, Moto Trials $85.50
Recreational Non Competitive $85.50
Riding Costs per day/event
Recreational Riding - Licenced Member $15.00, Licenced non-member $25.00, No licence, non-member $55.00
Racing - Division 1 $15.00, Snr Fast Fifties $15.00, Division 2 $20.00, all other classes $30.00. One Day Membership $15.00 and One Day Meeting Licence $45.00.
Please note the Club has a Working Bee on the Saturday before a race meeting and it would be great to have as many people out there helping as there is quite a lot of to be done to prepare the Club for a race meeting. You only need to give us a couple of hours of your time , just remember it all helps.
At the end of the year we have our Family Fun Day/Club Championship Trophy Day where trophies are presented to Club Points winners and Club Champions for all classes of riders.
